Children need to move and in my classroom we are always on the move. Children need to move and with new seats in my class students will be able to wobble, rock, and bounce. Being able to move around the classroom will help increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength, which in turn keep students' minds more alert and focused. Flexible seating gives students the choice by allowing them to choose where they seat. Many of my seating options stimulate students’ sense of touch which will help my students with ADHD, ADD, and autism. Wobble chairs, bean bag chairs, wobble chairs, balance balls, and stability disc will be much appreciated by the students. I am looking forward to remodling my room to make it more inviting for all students!
