Bringing American History to Life!

Help me give my students an opportunity to learn American History through reading and writing. They will be able to read biographies and history books and experience hands-on, minds-on lessons using the resource books and chart paper.

My Project

With these amazing biographies and history books, my students will learn about influential historical figures and important events throughout history. When students see the world through the eyes of other people, they are able to gain a greater respect for the progress we have made as humankind, but also think about how we can make the world a better place at the same time.

There are many influential people throughout time who had major impacts on society.

The chart paper will help us have discussions in the classroom about how students can be anxiously engaged in social, political, and environmental change in our societies. When students take action, they show how much they have learned about how to be compassionate, but also they will be able to show others that they can make a difference.
