This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When there is a free moment, even if it is just a second, my students turn to their screen.

This screen usage is taking a lot of energy from the universe.

Help me give students a low-energy alternative through coloring books and lots of crayons as a space to unwind rather than being screen-dependent. This is a more sustainable activity for the environment and we can discuss our footprint including the digital footprint.

In addition, some of the coloring books will help us get awareness for the environment and sustainability and who we are and the footprint we leave behind us. Sharing coloring books can also help with sustainability and waste because more, if not all, of the pages will be used.
