This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are taught the values and skills necessary to succeed in a diverse and ever-changing global society. We strive to create an atmosphere of high expectations and joyful learning where students are encouraged to work together, take academic risks, think critically, and pursue successful careers and higher education. We strive to convey and instill in our students the knowledge and experiences they need to live happy, healthy, and productive lives. We work to be the best people we can be and make them successful adults.

My Project

I need this Giant Jenga set in my classroom in order to engage my students in meaningful and fun reviews! There are amazing ways to use the Giant Jenga set for reviews, reading strategies, and other fun reviews. When the students pull a colored block out, we would match the color with the teacher made content sheet and the student would have to answer the question or complete the task! This will be many of my students' first encounter with a Jenga game and I can't think of a better way than for it to be used as a learning tool!

Donations to this project will improve my classroom with more engaging activities that all of my students can participate in and appreciate.

Seventh graders will love this game so much that they won't even realize that they are learning! This will ensure that my students will be on track with mastering their standards and having fun at the same time!

The djembe drum will be utilized for students who need to keep their hands occupied in class so that they do not get in trouble. This would be used by overactive students who need to be doing something. This would allow them to add comical relief, excitement, and suspense during the classroom times while providing an effective way for them to stay engaged in the lesson.
