it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Sometimes, the hardest challenge when reading a text is making it engaging to students. The supplies I am requesting will be for a mini project in our Unit that is connected to our current text, St. Lucy's Home for Girls Raised by Wolves.
This project will be an experiential learning activity for my students.
As my students conduct this project they will make masks and wear props to act out various scenes from the story. This will help my students understand the story better and increase class engagement. An activity such as this will provide a chance for my students to be creative, practice communication skills and have fun with the reading.
