My students need new and exciting book series for our classroom library such as Capital Mysteries and Fancy Nancy.

My Students

Students come from a low-income, poverty stricken area.

Providing various resources and extra special things in the classroom gives them an extra boost and a desire to learn. The school is a very special place because it promotes reading. By giving these students the opportunity to read in various forms, it encourages them to love reading!

My Project

By adding the Fancy Nancy series to our classroom library, students will be able to read about a fun and big personality little girl that uses "fancy" words. These books are great for encouraging the use of different vocabulary words. Students will be able to increase their vocabulary while enjoying fun stories. Capital Mysteries is a must have series! Students will be able to learn about US history, such as the Washing Monument and even past presidents. They will be able to increase their knowledge about their United States in a fun way.

Having a wonderful classroom library is a necessity.

These books will not only brighten the smiles of my current students, but students to come will also be able to enjoy these books.
