Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students will be engaged by the lifecycle of butterflies with this addition to my butterfly curriculum.

In the spring, I teach the butterfly life cycle through creative dance.

I also incorporate a multicultural aspect by teaching a Chilean dance called "La Mariposa".

The goal of this addition is to engage students in science through creative movement.

My students are special because they are fascinated by nature and have no natural elements on campus. Their imagination is big and therefore can utilize that to learn about nature when they don't have much of it in their daily lives.
