My Project

This project will benefit high school students as well as the preschool children we serve. As a Child Development Teacher, I run a part-time, low fee, preschool lab. The lab gives high school students the opportunity to have hands-on experiences working with young children. Many of my students go on to work in the Early Childhood or education fields.

Our large, enclosed outdoor space needs some excitement.

The stepping stones will give preschoolers an opportunity to practice their motor skills and give preschoolers the opportunity to observe and evaluate those skills.

The garden beds will serve as an opportunity for preschool students to learn about the growth cycle and get a little dirty! Gardening also helps teach patience as there is no instant gratification that children have become used to.

These are items that will be used for years and years to come.

Ms. Crawford will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by September 5.
