This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"An effective teacher accepts no excuses when moving students along the path of learning".
I Teach I Am
This is my first year teaching at this middle school.
When I look around the building I see the word SOAR which means Safety, Openness, Achievement and Respect. . These are lesson being taught to these urban middles school students. My students are inquisitive, hard workers and striving to achieve the standards that are presented to them educational and social.
My Project
These resources will be used in my classroom as follows:
Students will create anchor charts for lessons being taught, facilitate peer learning, and ongoing learning. The white boards will be used for reviewing for test, and checking for understanding. These supplies will promote independence and collaborative learning.
The donations will improve my student's thinking and learning skills, help with the willingness to share with peers, help them to support their peers, and to develop life long learners.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
