My Students

I work in a multi-age school with students from grades K-5 where our mission is to empower students to problem solve and flourish in a global society. Our vision is to maximize the potential of each child in a student centered, project-based learning environment that considers the whole child in fostering inquiry and critical thinking skills, and guides our students to flourish as leaders, life-long learners and problem solvers.

Learners thrive in this collaborative, interdisciplinary learning environment and are afforded an opportunity to delve into the exciting world of interactive, inquiry-based project learning.

My Project

The requested books will provide exposure to rich vocabulary which will help to increase all students reading and writing proficiency. The books will also expose the students to a variety of genres such as biographies, poetry, non-fiction, author studies, memoirs, and essays. The reading and writing units go hand in hand and build upon each other.

Your donation will have a positive impact on every student in our school and our kids will love to read and write even more.

They will leave us prepared to grow as readers and writers with the ability to communicate effectively when reading and in these styles of writing.
