it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
“A book is a device to ignite the imagination.” - Alan Bennett
I am a true believer that students learn better when given the opportunity to use their creative minds.
The same applies to reading and literacy. My students truly enjoy creating visual projects after we read a short story, poem, novel, or a play. It helps them open their minds and explore their imaginations.
By giving my students access to new crayons and drawing paper will help them continue using their creativity to bring what they read on paper to life.
More than half of students from low‑income households
