Bring Ping Pong to Our PE Classroom!

Help me give my students better hand-eye coordination, focus, and strategic thinking while encouraging physical activity and teamwork with ping pong.

My Project

I teach at a low income school where we are always looking for creative ways to enrich our students’ physical education experience. I am reaching out to request two ping pong tables for our PE classroom.

Ping pong is more than just a fun activity, it’s a fantastic way to encourage physical fitness, hand-eye coordination, and mental focus.

It also teaches important life skills such as teamwork, patience, and strategic thinking. Adding ping pong to our PE curriculum would give our students a unique opportunity to develop these skills in an exciting and engaging way.

With your help, we could use these tables to introduce a new sport that all students can enjoy, regardless of their athletic ability. Ping pong is especially great because it’s inclusive, safe, and accessible, making it perfect for students who might not participate as much in traditional PE activities.

Having two tables would allow us to run games, tournaments, and skill-building activities for larger groups. These tables would not only benefit our current students, but would also serve future students for years to come.
