Bring Our Designs to Life With a Color Laser Printer
Help me give my students a color laser printer, and one set of ink refills, so we can print out their digital designs in color.

My Project
In my classroom, we have both digital (on the computer) and hands on Art and Design projects going. My current classes focus on Sculpture and Fashion Design/ Sewing.
Print outs of student work created in design software, and reference photos for art projects are so important in our process.
Currently if I want a color print out, I have to ask an administrator to print it for me. This becomes annoying to them and adds extra days to the time in which I can get them to the students.
Having a color printer in the classroom will facilitate the design process, as a student that wants to change their concept can easily have a different reference photo printed out. Collages made on the computer can come to life on paper and grace the halls of our building on a bulletin board. The three dimensional work we create can be represented via photos to be printed out in color.
