Creating a Sustainable Duck Pond for Outdoor Learning!
Our students need an outdoor space where they can engage with nature and learn about ecosystems firsthand.
We are building a low-maintenance duck pond at our school to provide a habitat for ducks and teach students about environmental stewardship.
With your help, we can purchase the essential equipment to keep the pond clean, functional, and safe year-round. These items include:
Bio Pressure Pond Filters: These filters will ensure the water stays clean and healthy for the ducks by removing debris and promoting biological filtration.
Submersible Pump: This powerful pump will keep the water circulating, preventing stagnation and maintaining a balanced ecosystem.
Water Tank Heater: To keep the water from freezing during cold months, this heater will ensure the ducks have access to fresh, warm water.
These materials will allow us to create a sustainable pond that requires minimal maintenance and provides ongoing educational opportunities. Your support will directly impact our students’ ability to explore science, conservation, and care for animals in a hands-on way.
