My students love math and they are ready to tackle the Common Core Math Standards. These standards are a multi-state shift to create a new high-quality math education in multiple domains: operations and algebraic thinking, numbers and operations in base ten, fractions, and measurement and data. My project is for a gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers. I plan on using the gift card to buy materials they need to explore the fourth-grade standards. I have previewed the units and made sure they are rigorous and engaging while meeting the new math standards. These items I found surpass my expectations.
