My Students

I am currently a teacher at a Title One school, meaning that my class is fully of diversity. We do our best to represent all of our students cultures and backgrounds to make our school a safe and respectful place for everyone. What I love about my class so much is that we have such an amazing chance to learn how we can work hard and show acceptance to others no matter what age.

My Project

One of the best things about teaching younger grades is their love for music! Our whole day consistent of different songs that address saying hello and goodbye, following rules and procedures, helping us to learn about language and math. Music is an integral part of our day but in the current moment, the majority of our music is sourced from youtube or online, or casual singing. I would love to have more instruments in our class room to give my students more in person music magic and make their day-to-day routines and learning more engaging and fun!
