Given the current pandemic, we have had to modify a lot in how our kids have access to their materials. It was important that the students had quick and easy access to their individual items in order to stop the spread of germs. Given my kindergarten class, this was a lot of work, time, and money to ensure seamless access and safe distancing from one another- that included zip-tying baskets to chairs for books and buckets to tables for jackets. While this allowed the students to keep their items separate for a time, it left my room in complete disarray- chair basket broken and falling, leaving jagged edges, buckets causing tripping and clutter. My room, while covid friendly, was a disaster that affected my student and my ability to focus. I am hoping to use these easy over the chair storage for easier, cleaner, more efficient storage for my student individual items.
