Help me give my students the ability to be successful while learning remotely at home.

My Students
My classroom is a place to learn and discover new mathematics. My students are from inner city Brooklyn. Some of the students come from high poverty areas and school is a time to use technology that they may not have access to at home. The students are hard workers that want a chance to succeed in school. They are excited to explore the world of mathematics through technology. We are giving our students an opportunity to work with technology in a safe learning environment!
My Project
Last spring we had no idea what remote learning would look like and we discovered a lot in a short period of time. One thing that my algebra students had the most difficulty with was not having visuals in real time. I was unable to write on my laptop as I explained a new topic. Having a tool to write on one iPad would allow me to graph and show work as I spoke to the students.
A writing tool would allow students to feel like they were in a live classroom with a Smart Board in real time.
They would have the opportunity to ask questions as I showed the steps to solving each problem. It would replicate an actual school setting. The case would protect the I-Pad from getting damaged.
This would help overcome a lot of problems that we experienced in the Spring because they would be getting a visual along with a verbal explanation. Students need to feel connected to both the teacher and other kids and having the ability to show students work while teaching live is critical to being successful.
