Bring Learning to Life With Instructional Technology

My Project

For the past ten years, I have worked hard to serve students within Baltimore City Public Schools. This year I'm teaching fourth grade at City N Charter School. My students engage in unique learning engagements that explore Arts Integration and Project Based Learning activities. As an educator experienced in blended learning and creative integration of technology, our class is looking to start a Chromebook rollout for 4th grade.

Currently, only one Chromebook cart is being shared between multiple classes of students.

This disrupts the accessibility and use of devices within the classroom.

One of the many benefits behind a Chromebooks are the ability for my class to “go green”. Reason being, that Chromebooks help the environment eliminate wasted paper and ink each year.

Furthermore, Chromebooks take technology integration to the next level. With a set of chromebooks my students would be able to create informative videos on Adobe Express, conduct research simulation, utilize accessibility features to meet all learner needs, and publish and share writing tasks with their family, school and local community.

In my experience and in the experience of other educators, smart technology in the classroom helps to raise test scores, improve student learning & engagement, enhance exploration and interaction with projects, teach crucial 21st century learning skills, and increase student comprehension. Your donation will provide instructional tech that will stand center front, and enrich each student’s learning process for years to come.
