Help me give my students and class printer and Ink in an effort to make math more engaging with differentiated and colorful worksheets designed toward their Special Educational needs
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. O'Leary's classroom raised $363
This project is fully funded
My Project
I am Ms. O'Leary, a 7th Grade Math teacher in Staten Island NYC. My students are eager, curious, full of potential and some are VERY new to this country. As we strive to provide the best education possible, it is essential to have the tools necessary for students to succeed. One such tool is a reliable classroom printer, which would help us enhance our learning experience tremendously.
My students come from a diverse background, diverse countries and even more diverse learning styles; but they all have enthusiasm for learning in common.
They love engaging in hands-on activities and take pride in their work. Many/most of my students are VISUAL learners, and having access to printed materials will allow them to better engage with the curriculum, whether through educational worksheets, vibrant visuals, or materials printed in their home language.
THE NEED:
Unfortunately we currently lack a classroom printer, which limits the resources we can provide on a daily basis. IN our fast paced and growing world, students need materials they can physically interact with, whether for reading, problem-solving, or creating. A printer will allow is to produce color and black and white documents for:
~Visual Aid: charts and graphs to explain mathematical algorithms
~ Immediate access to worksheets, homework assignments, and assessments
~ Student Projects and presentations that can be printed and displayed
~Creative Activities that can be personalized for each student's learning style
A classroom printer would bridge this gap, allowing me to print essential materials right in the classroom. Having access to a classroom printer would make a lasting difference in the quality of education I can provide. Printed materials will inspire creativity, aid comprehension and boost student confidence.
With your generous support we can bring a printer to our classroom to enhance learning in countless ways.
