Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students are in desperate need of play items for their 20-minute recess. This year (and the next couple of years), the school is completely under construction!

This means there is no field, playground, or green space for students to play.

Help me get them some basic games, activities, and sports equipment to make their free time as rich and joyful as these students deserve. These items include: art supplies for a rolling Art Cart (chalk, markers, paper), balls, frisbees, jump ropes, games, and a badminton set.

Play and rest are essential for students to succeed. In a 7-period day, these kids get a 20-minute break. This break should be meaningful, joyful, and memorable. Please help me make this happen!
