This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school, 9th graders are split into three houses (Janus, Neptune, and Sol) this allows for teachers and administration to connect better with students and students have a more smooth entry into high school. I am a teacher within Janus House and I want to use these button makers to share with my students and colleagues so that we can make our school and 9th grade house spirit wear! With these button makers students will be able to create their own designs that represent their 9th grade house, our school, or any of their various interests.

The 9th grade experience is crucial for students.

I am hoping that with this on going project students will be able to express themselves and further enjoy their first year of high school.
