My Project

Reading is such a joyous part of any classroom. Diverse books draw students into epic worlds and inspire them to dream. Readers of all abilities experience excitement and build confidence when reading books that affirm their identities and interests

My class is filled with a diverse group of learners, but the one thing that unites them is their love of books.

Working with many students with learning disabilities it is important to have great books that they can get excited about and inspire them to learn. These books will help to fill our classroom library with amazing series, to keep students of all levels reading all year long.

The books in this project include unique and diverse characters to affirm identifies and expose students to different perspectives. By having access to these books student can practice their reading skills and become lifelong readers.
