Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I’m building a new morning routine for my students centered around STEM bins—individual and partner-based activity boxes filled with creative materials that promote exploration, engineering, and collaboration.This project includes exciting tools like the Bee-Bot programmable robot, Gears! Gears! Gears!, a Blocks & Blueprints Learning Center, and engineering kits like House Building, Bridge Builders, and STEM Explorers Geomakers. These materials will allow students to explore coding, simple machines, structural design, and spatial reasoning all before the first bell rings.
STEM bins are more than just fun—they teach problem-solving, perseverance, creativity, and critical thinking.
They also build confidence and teamwork, while giving students a calm, purposeful start to their day.
