Help me give my students color ink and black toner for our printer.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Lopez's classroom raised $601

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are in kindergarten and first grade.
They have disabilities including, but not limited to autism, specific learning disabilities in both auditory and visual processing delays, developmental delays, ADHD, speech and language impairments among other disabilities.
Our school is located in a rough area of South Los Angeles where the majority of students come from very low-income households. They are a great bunch of inquisitive, fun, and diverse learners who need extra support and resources to aid and enrich their learning.
My Project
My students need a variety of modalities to learn concepts. In class, they have direct lessons on counting, knowing the value of and identifying coins. They also have the use of manipulatives to explore math concepts. There are two other ways that my students can use the color ink to practice counting money, through worksheets for homework and flashcards. The color ink that I am requesting will allow me to print different flashcards about coins and counting so that my students can play games like, memory, identifying and flashing numbers and coins to know the attributes of money and counting. It will also allow me to print money related worksheets for homework and small group work.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
