This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This printer will make my students' learning more accessible by making it easier for me to plan, set up my lessons, and teach. Having a printer in the classroom will allow me to offer my students more resources and alleviate the stress that I face whenever our school printer is not working or occupied. Throughout my teaching career I have had students ask me to print their assignments or something for a project and have had to turn them away. When we need paper copies, I need to plan ahead to make sure I have enough time to deal with any issues that may arise.
Having a printer will allow me to easily bring not only my ideas, but those of my students to life.
I will be able to print activities for them to engage in like colorful gallery walks and give them the ability to analyze images more closely. I won't have to be constantly asking my coworkers to print things for me when I want my students have their typed work published on the wall.
