Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students need a classroom environment that promotes calm and focused energy where they can be successful. However, in many classrooms, students are expected to focus and concentrate under bright fluorescent lighting that can affect student learning and cause headaches and anxiety.
Fluorescent lighting no more, with these cloud simple covers.
I often turn off the classroom lighting and use simple lamps, however during some parts of the day, more lighting is needed for students to be to effectively complete tasks. With the use of these covers, I will be able to provide my students a well lit classroom environment without the harshness of florescent lighting.
Creating an environment where their basic environmental needs, such as safety and comfort, can be met is the most important start to helping students learn and be successful. I am hoping these these light covers will help make that possible!
