My Project

This is my first year teaching 8th grade, and I’m so excited to be part of such a hardworking and spirited school community. I have the privilege of teaching three blocks of Honors English, and my students consistently rise to the challenge with creativity, curiosity, and determination. They come to class ready to engage, think critically, and push themselves academically, and I believe they deserve to be rewarded for that commitment.

Many of my students come from families where parents are working long hours to provide for them, and I want my classroom to be a place that feels safe, comfortable, and full of encouragement.

By creating a welcoming environment with thoughtful décor, culturally relevant books, and meaningful incentives, I hope to help students feel seen, supported, and proud of who they are.

I’ve also included cleaning supplies and basic toiletries in this project to ensure that students have access to essential items that help them feel fresh, confident, and ready to learn. When students feel good physically and emotionally, they are better able to focus and succeed. Your support will help me build a classroom where every student, especially those going above and beyond, feels valued, inspired, and equipped to reach their full potential.
