Bright Lights For Portraits

Help me give my students photography lighting kits, tripods, backdrop stands and a backdrop to create portraits in our photography unit.

My Project

You know what I love most about my students? They are such hard workers and are so creative. I give them an idea and teach some techniques, but their creativity and innovation are what makes their digital art so amazing!!

My digital art students have several units of photography and they love the opportunity to get the cameras and express themselves and story tell through the lens of the camera.

I am looking for more tools to help expand our units. I am asking for tools like lighting boxes, backdrops. tripods and stands to teach my students how to take portrait lighting. They will practice on each other and learn how to tell a story through a single image in a scene they set up. My current tools only allow for one student group at a time to work and it takes so long to complete since only one pair can go at a time. With extra lights, tripods and backdrops, multiple kids can photograph at a time and there is less wait time for the kids to use the equipment.
