Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Whiteboards are used daily in any classroom, and are undeniably an essential tool for the instruction of any topic. Currently, the whiteboard in my classroom is very worn and does not erase properly. This makes it very difficult to use on a day to day basis.
By providing my students with a brand new whiteboard, I am able to ensure many years of enhanced learning experiences.
I will be able to use this whiteboard to teach not only my class this year, but my classes in years to come. Students will be excited to come to the front of the class and use the new whiteboard to explain their thinking in math, literacy, science, and social studies activities.
By replacing my old, worn whiteboard with something new and more usable, I am able to provide my students with the quality resources they deserve. My second grade students are bright and excited young learners, and they deserve high-quality materials to learn from!
