This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten students are bright, curious, and eager to learn every day! They come from a low-income community where many families struggle to provide even the most basic school supplies. Despite these challenges, my students come to school full of excitement and ready to grow.

In our classroom, we create, write, draw, and build every day — but many of our supplies run out quickly or need replacing.

We need basic materials like crayons, glue sticks, folders, and pencils so each child has what they need to participate fully and feel proud of their work.

Having their own set of supplies not only helps them learn but also builds their confidence and independence. For many, school is the only place they have access to these materials, and your support would mean the world to them!
