This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is on a Reserve Base. We serve the children of our Men and Women serving in the United States Military from all branches. Our school has over 1000 children that come from diverse military families. Children move every few years and have to start a new school because of the military parents' duty station transfer.
At our school, teachers and staff members strive to provide the best possible education to the military children that have to endure a new home, new school and new friends every few years.
The mission of our school is to educate our military-dependent children, no matter what their background or previous school experience, to fully achieve their personal and academic potential through the acquisition of core knowledge and the skills of analysis, problem-solving, communication, and global responsibility.
My Project
Belle Chasse Academy main focus is to provide the military child a great learning and enriching environment. Our children learn from hearing written words. These head phones can make the difference in the learning of our children because the children will be able to hear words that they are unable to pronounce and say correctly.
Please help the children of the men and women serving our country become the brighter leaders of tomorrow.
These headphones can impact the learning growth of so many of the military dependent children since they are always on the move, moving schools and having such a wide variety of change in their education.
