My Students
Students take pride in the work they do. They love to show it off and hang it in the halls for everyone to see as they walk by. When their projects or activities are donned with brightly colored paper, it helps get them excited about their work.
I have 1st grade students who come to me in the beginning of the year excited to learn!
They come in at many different levels and from many different backgrounds. Some of my students come to me at a year below grade level, but they try so hard! A lot of my students don't have the means to provide our class with the extras for the projects and activities we do.
My Project
The students will use these materials to complete writing projects, interactive notebook activities, math activities and games, and more! Research has shown that when brightly colored paper is used instead of white paper, it can reduce stress, improve visual processing, and increase productivity. Using bright colors makes the room or the activity inviting, making the students want to do it.
By Having the Astrobright paper donated to our classroom, my students will appreciate that their projects are bright and colorful, so much that their desire to complete the activity is higher than normal.
Our classroom will have their colorful projects hanging up which will make the classroom inviting and welcoming.
