My Students

Working in a Title I school can be very challenging, especially to our students who are in temporary housing, travel far distances to attend school, and are in foster care. In my Integrated Co-Teaching classroom, it is imperative to tap into the different learning styles of each student through visuals, technology, dialogue, and more. However, with minimal resources, it can be difficult.

My students want to be able to learn in a classroom that has flexible learning styles and accessible materials to work towards their goals.

They enjoy being able to use different techniques and strategies throughout their learning. They work hard and they are excited and eager to learn. My goal, as their teacher, is to inspire them to be the best they can be and to create a positive and safe environment for learning.

My Project

I am requesting bulletin board paper, border and precut letters. After the COVID-19 school year, students want to see bright and beautiful classrooms! They are very used to seeing the four walls in their bedroom or house.

I want to give them a fun space that will encourage positive learning in a classroom because students are excited to see and feel great energy!

Providing students with a classroom that consists of radiant bulletin boards can encourage students to want to be in a classroom. Students can help build these beautiful boards with their own personal tasks and assignments, which promotes them to feel included in the classroom.
