This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will help purchase a few basic but important supplies for our classroom—specifically staplers, lights for our class, and replacement blades for our pencil sharpeners. Our current staplers are either broken or missing, and it’s become difficult for students to keep their work neat and organized. We also need some lights to brighten up some of the dimmer corners of the room, especially since our class does not have any windows. Lastly, our pencil sharpeners are getting dull, and without replacement blades, they’re barely usable. These might seem like small things, but they make a big difference in keeping our classroom running smoothly.
