Help me give my students books to read as a class. We have old crumbling books, and I am thrilled to replace them.

My Students

My students are from a small rural town in the middle of beautiful orchards. There is a lot of building happening in our school boundaries, therefore we have an above normal influx of new students. It's exciting and most students are happy to be in their new homes. Covid is hitting hard, and very often I have one or two or three students at home. I have a Classroom for students who wish to participate in online learning, keeping in mind that if a student is sick, they won't be doing schoolwork.

My Project

I have never taught 4th grade before, therefore my class library is sparse. I have wanted to have class sets of books so we can read and do book study as a class. I love it when the class and I have the same experiences with a book. It gives the class a certain depth. It is like we have another set of students who we care about and understand. I'm really excited to get these books, and I don't know which one I want to read first! I"m looking forward to all of the activities that we can do with them.
