Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a second year elementary school counselor. I am so excited to be back in full swing after last year being the first year post-COVID. For many students this year has brought them many first time. (First time in the lunch room, first time being in school, Being in a new grade with new teachers and with change comes emotions) My students are truly so awesome and bright.
Students have their up and downs and I want to ensure I have access to give them bright and colorful materials/strategies they will be proud to take home and use in the classroom.
I want them to each have a colorful mood meter and identify with what they are feeling. That is why we need a color printer and ink!
When they see color in my classroom and in the work they are doing it inspires them keep striving and share there thoughts. We should all fill our hearts with color.
