This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
“Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.” - Margaret Fuller
My students are amazing!
They come to school eager to learn every day. My students come from diverse backgrounds and they are always excited. I teach at a Title I school in Los Angeles, where a large percentage of our student body qualifies for free or reduced-priced lunch. I am in the dual-language program at my school, where my students learn both English and Spanish throughout the day. One of their favorite activities of the day is center time.
My Project
This wireless, color printer will allow me to easily be able to print letters and notes to parents. Communicating to parents is an integral part of my program. I strongly believe that building strong communication with families is an important aspect of student achievement.
This printer will also allow me to print student work in a timely manner and display it around the classroom.
Having the ability to print student work or classroom materials will help place my students with the advantage of having their amazing work exhibited. Therefore, having a printer in my classroom it will help me achieve this goal for my students and families.
