My Project
In a Tier 1, Title I school in Las Vegas, Nevada, I have the unique opportunity of working with all of the English Language Learners on our campus. I also teach classes for the newcomers who are brand new to the country and often don't have a single word of English in their vocabulary.
With the caddies, markers, highlighters, notebooks, and novels listed, I will have the opportunity to help them bridge the language gap and access the same content as their peers by teaching annotation strategies and utilizing collaborative group projects.
