Help me give my students headphones, Comparing Numbers Learning center, Early Math activity, building boxes, Touch & Match Math Cards and Lakeshore Number Rockets.
My fun students are active learners. They live in high-poverty neighborhoods. They still come to school each day, eager to learn! They are naturally curious and want to explore their world. We do not have very many enrichment activities to help get them actively involved in their learning. With your support, we can give these students a bright and exciting future. We will be able to build on their background information and create a masterpiece. These kids are definitely worth it!
My Project
As a result of the pandemic and virtual learning, I have noticed that my class needs a little more support with their fine motor and math skills. This project will allow my students to practice their fine motor and math skills and strengthen their social skills while they are working in centers.
Hands-on manipulatives are the best way to make learning fun.
I am asking for Design Builders, Stretch and Connect Builders, Stack and Create Builders, Dot Painters, dig & discover dinosaur eggs, a spiral art design center and a Honeybee Tree game to strengthen their fine motor skills. They will have so much fun building and creating they will not even realize they are work on skills that are so important.
I am also asking for math centers to help bridge the gap that the kids have in their math skills from so much time at home. I am asking for Touch & Match Math cards, Lakeshore Counting Keys, Lakeshore Number Rockets, Counting Cars, Comparing Numbers Learning Center and Squeeze, Scoop & Count Ice Cream Shop. These activities will help reinforce math and social skills while they work at centers. The kids will be so excited to be able to manipulate all of the exciting items and count and sort so many different ways. all of these will help catch up my class so they will be ready for first grade on time. I am also asking for a set of headphones to help support all of our new technology pieces in our schools.
