This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are on the brink of a significant academic milestone: state testing. As their dedicated educator, I am determined to ensure that they are equipped with the tools they need to excel.

In our classroom, every student's potential shines brightly, but unfortunately, not every student has the same access to essential learning tools.

As we gear up for the upcoming state testing, I am reaching out to you, our generous community, to help level the playing field for our students from low socioeconomic backgrounds.

Many of our students cannot afford their own headphones and mice making it challenging for them to fully engage in digital learning activities and prepare for state testing. Without these tools, they are at a disadvantage compared to their peers who have them readily available.

Headphones are essential for creating a focused learning environment, allowing students to immerse themselves in educational videos, interactive lessons, and language learning exercises without distractions. Similarly, mice are crucial for navigating online assessments and completing assignments efficiently, especially for students who struggle with touchpad navigation.

By providing each student with their own set of headphones and a mouse, we can ensure that every child has equal access to educational resources and opportunities. Your support will not only help our students excel academically but also foster a sense of inclusion and belonging in the classroom.
