Bridging the Digital Divide: A Chromebook Creation

My Project

I am requesting 10 computers for my students as this would change the trajectory of their lives.

Several of my students do not have a personal device at home and therefore look forward to their time in school when they could conduct research for their projects.

I have 30 students in my class and only 20 working computers available. This shortage results in students sharing their already limited computer time in school.

Our present computer needs create some form of instability among students because whoever gets the computer first, is able to get ahead of the others. This is unfair as the "playing field" is not level.
