My Project

These folders will serve as a consistent, reliable tool for communication between school and home, encouraging family engagement, reinforcing classroom learning, and ensuring every child has access to essential materials. The initiative aims to build stronger connections between educators and families, which research shows can significantly impact student success, especially in early education.

In the kindergarten classroom, strong family-school partnerships are foundational.

However, many families face barriers such as inconsistent communication methods or a lack of access to materials. Providing high-quality, durable take-home folders ensures that all students, regardless of background, have the tools necessary to transport important documents, homework, learning activities, and teacher notes between school and home. This consistent structure helps families stay informed, engaged, and empowered to support their child’s education.
