This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our vibrant classroom, we celebrate the diverse backgrounds of our students, many of whom are English Language Learners (ELLs) and newcomers. This year, I am particularly focused on supporting several Level 1 students who are beginning their journey in English language acquisition. As a Title I school with limited resources, it's vital to provide these learners with effective and engaging tools tailored to their unique needs. I am seeking support for a Kindle Scribe, along with a protective case and a replacement pen, to enhance our students' educational experience.

The Kindle Scribe's user-friendly interface is designed to facilitate reading and writing, making it an ideal resource for ELLs.

It will allow students to take notes, annotate texts, and access a variety of digital materials—all in one convenient device.

Investing in this technology is an investment in the future of our ELLs and newcomers. Your support will help us create a more inclusive and supportive classroom environment, fostering a love for learning and empowering these students to thrive both academically and socially.
