Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I truly admire my students for their resilience and curiosity, especially in a classroom that faces many challenges. Despite limited resources, they consistently demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow, and they often surprise me with the questions they ask about hands-on science. With the right tools, they can all experience that same empowerment. The bilingual science books will bridge language barriers, allowing students from diverse backgrounds to better access complex science concepts, while building magnets and motorized windmills will offer engaging, hands-on learning that sparks curiosity and critical thinking. Construction toys will encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and creativity—skills essential not just in science, but in life.
This project aims to foster a deeper understanding of science, ignite a love for learning, and give my students the confidence to believe in themselves.
My students are special because they show tremendous potential, despite the obstacles they face. With your support, we can provide them the resources they deserve to succeed and thrive.
