My Project
Help me give our students physical, emotional, psychological, and ever- ongoing impact of the Lahaina Wildfire, our students have needs in these areas beyond what any single entity or support system can handle.
This project will help “Bridge the Gap” of other support systems and supplies that have dwindled down or dwindled away.
Our school was considered a low-income school before the wildfire decimated our town, taking lives and ways of life for the entire community, and after, the percentage of high-needs, at-risk students has soared--- and we know the needs of their families are so huge as well.
Due to the physical, emotional, psychological, and ever-ongoing impact of the Lahaina Wildfire, our students have needs beyond what any single entity or support system can handle.
This project will feed the souls, minds, and bodies of our students, with snacks, paper, scissors, and supplies to recognize student improvement compared to themselves and miscellaneous containers to serve other donated food items so they can feel cared for, recognized, and succeed at school. Knowing their child is fed and served at our middle school is also a huge relief to our parents and communities and helps keep their exponential need for food and provisions for their children during the school day.
So many donations have blessed us--- but so many have dwindled or gone away-- but our needs have not gone away! The effects on our students and school community are grueling and enduring and every bit helps our children cross the bridge to success and build their futures.
This project will support and reach all the students at our school!
