My Students

My students come from all over the world! We are fortunate to be in a shadow's distance to a major university which provides us the opportunity for our students to learn alongside a very international and diverse group of friends. It also means that we have an ever-changing level of abilities and expectations within our classroom walls.

A typical day in my classroom involves a lot of movement and discussion.

We are an active group and are constantly exploring the curriculum through experimentation and personal interaction with the world!

My Project

I am looking to add these BRIK's to my regular LEGO use. Because of COVID protocols, we just cannot share LEGOs. Having the letter BRIK's will significantly aid my students in practicing their spelling and vocabulary, aiding in grammar, and assisting in sentence structure and storytelling. These individual sets will allow for students to have their own use of Legos without having to worry about sharing.

Having a solid color BRIK's will allow our students to be creative.

Our students will be able to see how programmers and designers take a drawing or representation and turn it into pixelated materials. These will also allow students to create scenes for a story or create a character from a story. The possibilities of basic 1x1 bricks like this are endless.
