Help me give my students beverage cart supplies for the opportunity to become successful business leaders in our school.

My Project

The students in the Life Skills program will learn how to run a successful beverage cart business. The items listed —three carts, two beverage makers, K-cup holders, and sugar caddies —are needed to start up and maintain the business. We aim to generate sufficient revenue from beverage sales to cover expenses for hygiene products, extra clothing, field trips, extracurricular activities, and parties. The students will work on and improve their reading and math skills, as well as their soft skills of customer service, since most of them would like to get a paid job once they graduate from high school.

The students in the Life Skills program often get overlooked or underestimated by others in the school and community.

The beverage business will help them learn more about their school, teachers, peers, and themselves! It will also enable them to demonstrate their capabilities both inside and outside the school setting. Most importantly, it will help raise the self-esteem of the students in the Life Skills program by showcasing their abilities, rather than dwelling on their disabilities.
