This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are simply the best! We are a Title I school, but that certainly doesn't define my students. I have taught respect from day one, and my students are learning to be independent. I have the ESE inclusion class, so we have a wide range of academic skills. We are looking to find our strengths and grow our weaknesses.

My students are very active and have a strong desire to learn.

We simply want to be the best at everything. To be the best, we need the best supplies. Having all our needs in one spot is convenient and amazing!

My Project

We live in Florida and never know when we are going to have a heat wave. Having a fan in class will allow us to stay cool and calm. Our school is very old and they are slowly replacing Air Conditioners, but not fast enough. We are often faced with a warm room due to it not turning on enough.

Everyone sneezes and we are seriously almost out of tissues!

When the flu/cold season comes we go through so much. Having a large amount of tissues would supply us for the remainder of the school year. We just want a nice cool classroom with lots of tissues when we need them, especially for allergies.
