My Project

Music class is a great time to learn about sound, rhythm and instruments, but it is also a great place and time to help students feel better, get in touch with their emotions, and nurture their minds and bodies.

When we move our bodies, like playing instruments or doing group rhythm exercises, it helps our brains by lowering stress and creating community within the classroom.

Students are often tired of just sitting all day and would like to do something different in music class. I would like to start introducing more physical movement activities on a regular basis to help keep things lively and give students the chance to move to the beat!

Having some sports equipment in class is not just fun; it helps students feel better, learn better, and stay healthy inside and out!
